Hello, friends! Here's a little bit about life around here right now:
I feel very unmotivated to do Halloween decorating. But, I do love Halloween. So, I'm trying to motivate myself to get it going. I pinned a few images of things I like and want to make, like these:

The TV Show, Star Trek: Lower Decks.
It's a cartoon version of Star Trek, which focuses on the lives of the "lower deck" crewman — the lowest rank people on board the ship. It's half-an-hour and totally silly, so it's perfect for a quick Friday night watch after the baby goes to sleep. I listened to a review of it on the Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast and decided that I had to see it! It gets better as you go through the episodes; as the show finds its footing and defines the characters.
He had a rough month and had to see the doctor a few times. But he is still as sweet and smile-y as ever.
He is ten-months-old (!!!) and starting to get really active. We are baby proofing as fast as we can.
Current art crush?
Margaret Molinari, aka margarts. Her printing videos will hook you. She takes vegetables and household objects and prints on fabric with them every single day. It's inspiring! Take a peek (these images are embedded from instagram, if you don't see them, click HERE):
I'm a relatively new follower of Margaret. I think her earlier work is more along the lines of traditional printing with hand carved stamps. But this month I have really looked forward to my daily object printing video from her. I hope you enjoy them too!
