Hello, friends! I hope your quarantine life is settling into a happy routine. Here's a little bit about life around here right now:
Black, black, black. Black sweatshirt. Black t-shirt. Black hoodie. Sometimes accessorized with an apron…
…and sometimes accessorized with a baby on my chest.
As a side note: after years of insisting that leggings aren't pants, this pandemic has changed my mind. Leggings are pants and they're the pants I wear every day. Black leggings, of course.
We bought a Jolly Jumper and the baby loooooves it!
I have read 12 (!!!!) books this month. Thanks to my local library's e-book app, I've been able to binge on historical romance novels on my phone.
You know how I always say that you can get a surprising amount of art done in 10 minute increments? The same is true for reading. I read 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there and before you know it, I'm searching for a new book to read!
Sometimes I feel like I ought to be reading something more high brow, but I need the escape right now. For me, romance novels are like a happy rom com. They're a chance to escape into a world where dreams come true, villains get punished, and true love transforms everything. 🙂

It has been important to all of us to quarantine with my Mom. She lives nearby and we try to bring the baby over to her house and have her come over for dinner and such at least once or twice a week. Because Steve and I both work from home and only venture out for groceries and other necessities, this seems like a safe plan for our family.

Drew is a quilt artist who has become consumed with monoprinting. I just love his graphic style and awesome color sense.
