Hello out there! Here's a little bit about life right now:
This is me right now:
Slightly out of focus seems about right for life at the moment.
My current art obsession is: Working on two paintings in tandem in short 30-minute bursts.
My current life obsession is: Settlers of Catan. Can't. Stop. Playing.
I'm loving: My Mom. Glad she's my Mom.
I'm hating: That it's officially Spring and my heavy parka and boots are still very much needed.
My home is: Filled with eclectic goodies.
My life is: Surreal and Magical and Lucky.
My favorite art project I made this month but haven't shown on the blog yet: paper I watercolored, cut and then rolled into a flower. I love the way it looks and how easy it is to do!

Great Job done there even if you did not get to do all that you wanted. Chicago looked amazing. I wish I could see that show next year.
The flower that you did looks really nice. I too have been playing around with spiral roses. I did see a certain Lady from across the pond demon her die cut for making them on HSN.
I too thought that it could be done with the Scan n cut. I did find a free svg file. I tried it I think the scallop edge needs to be taller to get that nice bend to make it fluff out more and look more like your 5 flower scan n cut flower.
I have been stamping blank paper with my snc stamps. You using water colors love it.
I am reproducing a pattern piece for a hat that I have made before. I am using my SNC thank goodness for the basic shapes as I found the shape of the crown for the hat that I needed to reproduce.
I just hope I got my dimensions right. I made the hat twice a couple of years ago for gifts. I wanted to make one for myself. I must have cut it to small as the crown looks like it would fit a little child. Here is hoping all turns out. I will have it for next winter.
