Last weekend I taught two classes at A Work of Heart in San Jose, California.
On Saturday night I taught "The Stenciled Face."
On Sunday I taught "Sketchbook: Yes, You Can Draw." As usual, everyone started class by announcing that they couldn't draw. By the end of class, I'm delighted to say that I proved them all to be liars!
We had so much fun! What a great group of talented and generous women! Absolutely fabulous! Thank you to everyone who came out and played with me! I really enjoyed it!
My next in-person class is in Santa Ana, CA at Jenny Doh's Studio Crescendoh, this weekend. Then I'll be teaching at The Ink Pad in NYC on February 28. Spend the weekend with me at Papercraft Clubhouse in Connecticut March 14 & 15. I'm heading to Scrapbook Centrale in Quebec April 17-19.
Just an FYI to let you know that I'm not planning on taking many more teaching gigs in 2015 or almost any in 2016. I will be making a teaching trip to Australia in 2016 (yay!) but that's pretty much it.

Wonderful drawings and I bet each person felt good about what they did…you have a way of giving your students confidence. Boo to less classes in other places but yeah to you for less travel.

I can’t believe they said they couldn’t draw, then drew these pictures … they are amazing and I would love love to take that class! But doesn’t sound like you’ll be in Texas anytime soon :(. Thanks for sharing … will you or would this be a class you could teach online? Very interested and adore your blog!

Like you said, if we practiced drawing the way we practiced writing, imagine how great of a drawer we’d all be! Thank you! Bummed you’re not taking on more classes, but I will gladly continue to take your online classes. You’re so down to earth and it was a blast and an honor meeting you!
