  • Julie,
Love your art and your site, thank you for being such a generous artist with your talent and techniques. I just bought your DVD at the Interweave store and love your fun personality. I try and catch Scrapbook Soup on the weekends when I can pick up the channel (sometimes if the wind blows wrong the signal goes out, such is the country life!) Happy Creating!!!

  • Without a doubt, my favorite is the one you have not finished. Those colors are perfect and it really appeals to me. I see summer skies, bright yellow and orange flowers and a touch of lime green grass. As an artist, I am drawn to the circle pattern on the right. Think I would just develop that shape and see what happens. Love your work!

By the way…I would love to win the stencils. I already have ideas floating around in my head as to how I would use them.

  • I love the page with the Swatter Stencil and the figure of the woman. I especially like the way you did the woman. Did you do that free-hand? It looks great. I am always using figures in my journal. I will use figures from magazines as silhouettes as well as figure stencils (which are hard to find) and once in a while I will attempt a drawing. Anybody know of figure stencils of women? This is very creative. I love it!

  • Hi, Julie! My favorite layout is the one after the gelli plate multi-layer with the circles/ovals and lines connecting them together. The possibilities are just ENDLESS with this design (in my very biased opinion). Thank you for your generosity in giving away your coveted products. Until your next post – best, Marnye.

  • Hi Julie, love the backround you don’t know what to do with. That would make a great background for one of your canvas bags you paint? Swatter stencils would be great for tags too. Love all the neat ideas you pass my way, being old, I don”t have to think as hard, just have fun trying your new projects.
By the way—the trackback doesn’t work.
