Today I'm sharing two videos about cutting out stamped images with your ScanNCut.
The built-in scanner in your ScanNCut makes cutting out stamped images super easy using the Direct Cut function. Watch the video for the how to:
Here's a handy dandy little guide to make it easy for you to see the variations Direct Cut offers you.
The left column shows the subtraction and addition of a margin (there are additional size options beyond what is shown here, btw). In the far right column are some of the built-in shaped borders (again, there are more options than shown here), and in the center column you can see a shaped option with three size variations.
If Direct Cut isn't enough for you, Brother now offers "Enhanced Image Tracing" or EIT. EIT can be purchased from any licensed Brother dealer (find a dealer near you here). Watch the video to see how it works with stamped images:
And here's a quick sample board I put together to show off what EIT can do:
With EIT you can now cut:
- The insides of stamped images.
- Text with gaps and individual letters.
- Stamped images that aren't closed.
- Faintly stamped images.
- Groupings of stamped images, with gaps between them.
Pretty exciting to see what you can do with your ScanNCut, isn't it?!
