I know that I mentioned this before, but I'm saying goodbye to the Pencil Lines design team! It has been a wonderful year, but I'm finding the need to free up some time for other endeavors. I've had a few awesome opportunities come my way that I want to pursue. I have so enjoyed working with Anna's and all the talented guest's sketches! Thank you, Pencil Lines!

And now here's a look back at a little more than a year's worth of layouts inspired by Pencil Line sketches:
Some hits and some misses. Lots of circles. Lots of color. Plenty of paint. It's interesting, I feel like my scrapping style has changed recently and looking back at these layouts I can see some of the awkward growing pains as I've been evolving.

your scrapbook layouts are so inspiring – I haven’t done “proper” scrapbooking since 2005 (it’s all mini books and CJs and journals for me nowadays), but your work more than anybody’s gets me hankering to get that 12×12 paper back out

#181 (about your trip to the salon) – I LOVE the sewn masking tape border on this one, the typewritten list, and also the “orange slices”
#207 “be nobody but yourself” – love the combo of bold colours and thick black lines on this one, and the funky handcut lettering

They are all so very inspiring. I loved Floating and Visit to the Salon. Flaoting took me there, I could appreciate that moment. Visit to the Salon … loved the stitches over the masking tape. Awesome!

All of these pages are great! The design that captured me when I first saw it on your blog, if I correctly recall, is “True.” I just love everything about that page! I really like the concept and the way “Floating” turned out. For some reason it brings to mind a scene you would see in a movie?!? And I also like “30” very much. those are amazing! i just haven’t figured out scrapbooking yet. i know it is similar to art journals, but i haven’t made the crossover. my favorite is definitely the one with the feet. the pool one? every time i scan through it catches my eye and makes me smile! good luck on your new pursuits!!
