This is my last month with Label Tulip. Label Tulip has been an important part of my daily life for more than a year. I am very sorry to be leaving and wish the club, the members, and all the Tulip Girlies the very best going forward. On a personal note, this will be the first time in more than five years that I won't be part of a kit club. It's a big mental change for me. A brief time line:
- In the beginning, I subscribed to Club Scrap.
- A year or so later I added a subscription to ScrapGoods (I think it went out of business recently).
- Maybe a year later, I added a subscription to Scrapologie (which also went out of business). I tried to get a subscription to Poppy Ink (also out of business now), but couldn't ever seem to get off the wait list. And, I ended my subscription to Club Scrap.
- In 2007, I made it onto the design team for Serendipity Scrapbooks and canceled my subscriptions to ScrapGoods and Scrapologie soon after.
- When I wasn't asked to return to the Serendipity team, I put myself on the waitlist for a subscription to Studio Calico.
- Almost immediately, I joined the design team for My Kits and Pieces. A few months in, my number was called and I became a subscriber at Studio Calico.
- About a year after that, My Kits and Pieces went out of business and I moved over to the Label Tulip design team.
- About two or three months into my Label Tulip kits, I canceled my subscription to Studio Calico (there was a lot of overlap of product at that time).
- And now my time at Label Tulip has come to an end.
Label Tulip was a wonderful experience for me: lots of very talented people, a low key and fun message board, and fantastic kits! I thought we might take a little trip down memory lane. I've chosen my favorite layout that I made from each of my thirteen months with Label Tulip.

I can see myself evolving through these layouts. Changes internal and artistic. I remember reading somewhere that when Tiger Woods changed his swing, he went through a period of time where he was worse. But after some time, the new swing kicked in and it was ten times better than the old one. There are certainly months where looking through the layouts was painful. Noth
ing I liked. But sometimes you have to work through the swing, right? It's like the awkward in-between phase when you're growing out your hair. Put on a barrette and walk out the door! Change is inevitable and almost always for the better. I hope I never stop learning and evolving – both in life and in art.

I love the layouts that are of you when you were younger the best, they are just such fun peeks! I also think you look alot like one of my sisters when she was younger in those photos so you seem familiar that way! =)
