As I mentioned yesterday, last week I took a week-long "Expressionistic Figure Painting" workshop at The Art Students League with artist Barbara Yeterian.

Today I'm sharing two canvases!  I made both of them while I was at Ronda's.  They're both on wooden canvases,

Sometimes the canvases come together quickly and sometimes I labor over them for hours.  This one was a quickie…sort of.

I thought long and hard about whether or not to post this canvas as part of my 100 Canvases series.

I labored over this piece quite intensely and I think it shows it (and not necessarily in a good way).
