I want to share a little bit about the Balzer Bits with you today! What are the Balzer Bits? They're small masks (all smaller than 4"x4"). There are ten designs.

I like the size and the ability to have a little control in the placement of repeating designs. I like the images- some look like they are from nature while others from childhood. I see the designs because of size adding an extra umps to a piece. I just LIKE!

I think what I like best is you have picked some everyday objects for your designs that can be used over and over again, as a symbol of deeper meaning. For instance, in my art journal, I would use the hand to represent my daughter who recently passed away. No one else’s hand will ever fit in mine the way hers always did.

This size and the versatility, for sure. I love that they are sort of the inverse of larger stencils- the cut out bits I always wish the stencil manufacturer would include in the package!

I really love how your new Balzer Bits’ masks & stencils are the perfect size to add design in either a small space; to create large volume; & how easily they work for the Gelli plate! (I used to think that I should only get your stencils in 12″ x 12″, but have learned that some designs don’t work as well in that large format—not as easy to manipulate on a smaller medium. It might be easier to say what doesn’t appeal to me about the Balzer Bits! Love the idea that I could put a small accent somewhere on the page without an entire stencil being in the way. That is probably the best advantage that I see. Plus – they are just so darn cute! Thanks for the chance to win!

Sorry about the second posting but I neglected to answer your question. I like the Balzar bits because I have a gelli plate and have purchased your video series. I love your stencils but the bits will eliminate the need to work around the hard edges on the stencils when working with the gelli plate. I love your ideas and products.

First of all, I like the size of the Balzer Bits. I often work very small and large stencils can be unwieldy. Secondly, I like that they seem like simpler versions of the larger designs. Thirdly, they appeal to me because of the clarity of image you can get. Fourthly, I think it would be fun to layer them. My faves are the feather, star and pomegranate bits. Wendy

I like that they are not framed like regular stencils, when you spray on them it does not create a square around with the paint, that some times its difficult to hide.

What doesn’t appeal to me might be easier than what does appeal to me. I make a lot of tags and the size and variety is most appealing as lots of other stencils are to big for tags. Love your videos they encourage me to have a go and not worry about being perfect. Bless you Julie

Love all the designs. What I like best is that because they are individual shapes, you can make your own pattern with one, two or all 10!!!! They never have to look the same way twice. Endless possibilities! Yay.

I saw you on the Simon Says Stamp blog. I really liked watching your video. These bits are great because you can create so many things with them.
