There were some great stencil suggestions left in response to the question in this post.  And have I got good news for you!  Lots of the stencils you're asking for already exist!  The Crafter's Workshop has been making awesome stencils for a long, long time.  And one of the reasons that I got involved with the company is that I was a long time user of their products.  So I thought I'd share some photos and links to existing Crafter's Workshop stencils that match some of your requests!  I hope it's helpful!

Your stencils are just my style, I love them. And which one I'd like more: a bunch of freehand butterflies. I know that there are a lot of butterflies stencil out there, but I don't know one that have frehanded in various shapes and sizes. I loved the idea of Stencil Palooza!! Thank you for inspiring us!

TCW currently has four butterfly stencils available:

SBC_cf-tcw206
Flutterby

SBC_cf-tcw175
Butterflies

SBC_cf-tcw197
Butterfly Meadow

SBC_cf-tcw193

Love them all – would love a cloud stencil or leaves – maybe you have them already! Haven't seen them all.

Good news!  I have a cloud template and a leaf template and there are about a million more leaf templates from TCW that are currently available:

hi Julie, I would like to see a stencil of a tree, a short fat tree, I looked all over Walmart the other day for a tree. not one, or all out…(with out leaves) I just love this stencil, cause I am not good with words, thanks for the chance.

TCW has a couple of different tree templates out there:

SBC_cf-tcw249
Treescape

SBC_cf-tcw171
Tree of Life

SBC_cf-tcw102

SBC_cf-tcw251

Love the mask Julie! But then again I have been loving everything you have been doing since I found you. I would like a stencil that has a doodling curly-que design. Its hard to explain it in words but it is what I usually doodle when I am bored and waiting on something or listening to something.

TCW has a couple of curly doodles to offer:

As for a stencil I wish was available–I'd like one that has snowflakes on it. Living in Manitoba, where we have snow for quite a few months each year, I'd like to be able to use one. Or I guess, this one would be harder to make, but could be really lovely—one that represents the aurora borealis, or the northern lights as we call them. They are just beautiful, dancing in the sky and it would be great to transform that into a canvas.

Snowflakes, at least, I can do for you:

These are all so pretty, love seeing all the different projects with them. I'm kinda new here still and not sure what stencils you have or elsewhere really. What I love though are circles, numbers, grids, leaves, trees, hearts of all kinds/shapes, pumpkins ummm think that's it for now.

Thanks so much

Leaves and trees we're already talked about.  TCW has lots and lots of circles:

I don't know if it exists, but I would like to have a stencil with different birds. It would be a stencil that would offer different layers that we could choose. I would like to have a few options of doodles, eyes, feet, etc. Thanks for the chance.

How about this bird stencil?

You could always layer the bodies over other stencils to pattern them differently.

I love stencils that deal with school. rulers, number lines, etc. Or stencils that deal with time – clocks, tie lines, (great for heritage pages). You have created some beautiful designs with this stencil! Thanks so much for the chance to win.

I found a clock stencil for you, Tammy:

Hi Julie

love the rainbow images in the last few, and the writing, its loose and flows really well. I love bees, they are so emblematic, so I think bees would make great stencils.

I've got bees for you, Rosie:

Hi Julie
Found you just recently and have picked up a few of your stencils. I've so enjoyed seeing everything you do. Love the trust your heart projects here. Just delightful! I would also love to see a bare branch tree stencil. And how about a whimsical house (with windows, a door, chimney etc.) that you could fill in with text or color in different ways?

Besides the tree stencils, TCW has two branch stencils:

SBC_cf-tcw207
Birds of a Feather

SBC_cf-tcw177
Cherry Blossoms

Thanks Julie for all the inspiration you provide. I've been really thinking about my direction lately regarding style. Stencil ideas would be in the line of Steampunk background or objects. Also I would like stencils of borders that could be not only used for paper projects but clothing as well. I see making edgings on fabric, perhaps at hems, but also for making my own trims. As always, you stretch my imagination!

TCW has a few border stencils that might work for you:

First, I want to thank you for Stencils 101! It was great and I appreciate that it was free! And I'm glad you posted the list of places to purchase your stencils again as I tried a few places last week and they were out. So I'll try some other places this week. A stencil that I would like to see is some holiday related stencils – evergreen or Christmas tree maybe. For fall, pumpkins or spooky trees. Thanks again, Julie!

I've got one Christmas stencil for you:

I love seeing all the ways you use one stencil, and especially liked the canvas gesso technique. I think having a stencil with different silhouettes of people would be cool – whole bodies, classic head silhouettes, etc. I'd also like some stencils with "retro" designs from different eras like the 50's.

Good news!  I can help you with the silhouettes…
…and the retro 50s!

What inspiration! Love the colors!
My go-to elements are ususally hearts and stars.
Also, circles and squares-singly or combined.
Thanks for the chance to win!

We've discussed hearts and stars and guess what?  I can do circles and squares combined!

Thanks for the video. I really like ocean themed products (because I live in San Diego) and also Japanese style products (because 3/4s of my church is of Japanese decent). A stencil along those lines would be fun.

TCW has two ocean-themed products:

"I heart (symbol) you" is one. I know so simple – right? Graph template would be good too. I could probably make one myself pretty easily but I'm too lazy. How about a fence? A rickety one for Halloween would be fun.

There is a stencil that includes a fence:
And you can see how Karen Grunberg used it to create a rickety Halloween fence here.

Fun! Love the gesso technique. Hmmmm…what kind of stencil. Masculine tattoo feel maybe, rocks background that could be used with texture paste to look like rocks, flower background in a repeat lattice feel. Just more flower/flouirsh combo would make me happy too. Oh and of course more of your handwritting! Thanks for the chance to win

Loved the video, definately gonna try that technique and make a canvas like that for my niece for her birthday. Thanks for sharing! Hmmm, it seems like theres a stencil for about everything I love. I like that TCW has them in 2 sizes. If I had to request though I'd love more journaling stencils, with diff types of lines to write on.

TCW has some great journaling stencils!

  • I just ordered several stencils from Frantic Stamper in Oregon. Fast and excellent service. I previously ordered from PaperWishes but they didn’t have all the stencils I wanted. I’d been looking for the Henna Hands since I saw Kelly Kilmer use them in one of her classes in Scottsdale, AZ. I’m thinking about the 30 days of Journaling class that begins Nov. 1. Lots on my plate right now. Thank you for sharing everything and your blog.
