My sweet friend Kimberly recently had a birthday. I painted up a little bag for her, which I filled with some goodies. This is how it started:
Just a cheap plastic bag from the drugstore.
This is what an hour with a paintbrush did:
Every surface is an opportunity to add color and pattern and fun! She loved the gift and I loved making it. Win-win, right?!

Fabulous. I too look forward to hearing what paints and how you sealed the bag. I have often wanted to paint old heels that have gotten badly scuffed, into an art piece to wear on my feet. So far I have not found the right sealer to keep from peeling. Your creativity is limitless. What a lucky friend.

I’ve had acrylic peel off of plastic like butter off a hot knife! So what did you use and how did you do that?!! It looks fabulous, no wonder she was pleased!
