I'm working on some new artwork in the studio this week.

As you can see from the video, I'm currently working through the final stages of a couple of mixed media pieces — doing my best to figure out how to push them to the finished stage. I'm using my knowledge of the Elements and Principles of Art to guide my choices.

…I think it needs a few more layers before it's done. It went from overly lush to overly constructed. Making artwork is a constant back and forth. Time to get back to work!

I liked the white on top and how you just paint it on. i don’t know if you’d call it spacial relations but you have it. i need to think about where I’d paint out a little more but not agonize. also, repaint if I don’t like is not second nature yet.
