This year, I also make some very basic dyed eggs with my son. It was his first time. We smashed a few eggs in the process. We talked a lot about why we couldn't drink the dye. One of us enjoyed smelling the vinegar. And we both ended up with green fingers. In other words, a good time was had by all!
