I'm currently participating in "Weave Through Winter," a project led by Helen Hiebert. The idea is to create a paper weaving every single day in February. Here's what I've made so far:

As you can see, my weavings are all over the place. Different sizes, different formats, different styles, different everything! Last week I talked about being in the technical phase of learning. Right now, I'm in the experimental phase of learning where I'm simply trying everything I can think of to see what works and what doesn't. As a side note, learning phases can be concurrent and not necessarily sequential. I'm still gaining technical skills, but I'm definitely pushing out a bit more and exploring my options!
I truly looooove learning and am having a wonderful time allowing my imagination to take the lead. I'm even enjoying troubleshooting. And there's a lot of it in these pieces.

I am fascinated with your paper weavings! There are some that I just can’t visualize how they go together. Do you have any resources to share to get a handle on some of the more complex techniques? I do remember making a woven placemat in Girl Scouts when I was a kid, but that is the extent of my paper weaving skills.
