This is a post that I have been meaning to write for a long time and I finally sat down and filmed the tutorial for you. Yay! These are pouches made from laminating sheets. The stamping goes on the inside of the laminating pouch so that it doesn't chip or rub off.
This is a super fun and easy project. You can watch the short (4 min) video for the full tutorial:

Here are some supply substitutions that you might find useful:
- No laminator: I think you can do something similar with contact paper, or even two sheets of acetate. You would simply have to glue the acetate sheets together in order to sandwich the stamping inside.
- No foam stamps: No problem. You can use any stamp and any ink/paint as long as it will dry on the plastic. Watch the video to see why drying is so important.
- No sewing machine: You can glue or staple the edges shut. I wouldn't use a dry adhesive because it might not stay stuck for long.
- No plastic snaps: How about magnets or sticky-back velcro?
I hope you find the list of substitutions helpful and that you'll give this project a try. The envelopes are really hardy and hold a surprising amount of stuff!

Love these! I wonder if the crimping attachment of a hot knife could seal the edges if you didn’t stamp all the way to the edges.
