I had such a great time teaching my live online "Block Printing on Fabric" class via Zoom last week. It was about as close as you can get to an in-person class experience, but with all of my supplies at my fingertips. A totally perfect situation. I definitely plan to teach more long format classes like that. It was a wonderful experience. I made a set of 4 blocks (aka stamps) in my demo for class:
And these are the fabrics I printed during my demos in class:
The two green pieces were created from the same strip of green patterned fabric. But they look soooo different!
Part of what made class so great was that it was made up of a wonderful group of women. Most of them were fairly new to carving, but you'd never know it from their magical creations. I couldn't take photos of what people made, like I usually do for in-person classes. But two students were kind enough to send me some photos and I stole a few more from instagram:

Chris carved so much, she had to order more Speedy Carve! She's also a zentangle artist, can you tell?

Some of the other ladies carved alphabets, hexagons, layered trees, and an entire garden of flowers! All the students agreed that stamp carving is addicting and Chris wasn't the only one to run out of rubber to carve! If you've never tried stamp carving, you should! I have several online classes for you to take if you're looking for guidance through the process.
I haven't decided what I'm going to make with my fabric. Probably just add it to my stash of handprinted fabrics:

I could totally see a big quilt/wall hanging made from all your various pieces of handprinted fabric!Don’t cut them up necessarily but showcase each in its own block. The quilt could be two sided to use a larger variety of fabric…
