Hello, friends! I suppose everybody's life is a little bit weird at the moment. But, I'll take safe at home over the alternative. Here's a little bit about life right now:
I get dressed in a kind of uniform every single day: sweatpants or leggings, nursing tank, sweatshirt or sweater. Hair up (the baby is in the hair grabbing phase) and if I'm lucky, my contacts go in. Final accessory: baby.
I haven't worn any "real" clothes in ages. And makeup…ha ha ha. We are all about the basics around here!
I bought a new phone case for my phone! And it arrived in the mail yesterday. Yay!
It's from my society6 store. It was a toss up between the "eye of the tiger" and one based on my tar paper face:
I think I made the right decision? Although, does a person ever *need* 2 phone cases…? 😉
I need happy and silly in my life right now. I'm currently binge-ing on Tessa Dare romance novels. Just finished reading The Duchess Deal.
It's trashy historical romance at its best — predictable, fun, and a delicious distraction! And I'm in the midst of reading How the Dukes Stole Christmas — 4 shorter romances by Tessa Dare, Sarah MacLean, Sophie Jordan, and Joanna Shupe.
I'm reading all of these novels for free, by the way, using my library card to access the ebooks on my phone!

I started following kasiaavery this month. Her art journals are lovely, and I really looooove the way she stages her photographs. Her photographs of her journals give me all the good feels. I want to be a part of those photos. I want to live in that world. It's so beautiful. Check it out:
