I don't know what it has been like for you, but February has absolutely disappeared on me.  It's a short month anyway, but where has the time gone?  Here's a little bit about life right now:

What are you listening to?

20th Century Radio.  I'm addicted.  I stream these old 1930s-1950s radio plays on my computer while I'm working.  Boston Blackie, The Saint, Dragnet, Box 13, Broadway is My Beat…lots of super fun cheesy stories to listen to.  And all for FREE!

What are you wearing?

Necklace-wm
Black on black on black with colorful jewelry, of course!  I actually put this outfit together to coordinate with the necklace, which I made!

Here's a closer look at the necklace:

What have you bought?

Earrings!  Super fun big and dangly earrings from While Odin Sleeps.

What are you reading?

The Artist Project: What Artists See When They Look at Art

ArtistProject
This book is just what it says it is — a book about artists looking at art.

Insidebook
Each two page spread features a living artist.  You see them, their work, some thoughts on a piece from the Met's collection, and then that piece from the Met.  It's fascinating!

Who are you stalking…er, admiring from afar?

Currently stalking the #QuiltCon hashtag on instagram because it's QuiltCon weekend!  And there are so many amazing quilt pictures being shared!  Here are three of my favorite recent photos from the show floor:

I could do an entire (very long) blog post filled with screenshots.  So much design inspiration!

Where are you going?

I am headed to Florida this week for a visit to HSN (Home Shopping Network) and to teach at WhimSoDoodle in St. Petersburg!  This is a pic from my "Texture + Color" class:

So, there you have it!  That's the scoop on life around here at the moment.  If you'd like more behind-the-scenes real life fun, you can always check out my vlog.  I post a new vlog to my YouTube channel every Wednesday!

Thanks for stopping by!
