I'm super duper excited about my new stencils for The Crafter's Workshop. They're not available for purchase yet, but I thought you might enjoy taking a peek at the video I recorded in the booth at CHA (the Craft & Hobby Association Show). It originally appeared on periscope.
What is periscope?
Periscope is a livestreaming app for your phone. When you watch live, you can ask questions by typing into your phone. You can give the person recording likes or hearts by tapping the screen during the broadcast. This lets the person recording know whether or not you are enjoying the content.
One of the unique things about periscope is that much like snapchat, videos disappear after twenty-four hours. You must watch it in that timeline or it's gone forever!
Periscope gives the person recording the option to save the video to their camera roll. (Viewers cannot save the video.) However, the video you save doesn't include any of the comments or questions that you can see during the live viewing or the replay.
So, in the video below, I'm answering questions you can't see and talking to people you don't know are there. Weird, right? But I think it's fun to see all the samples and new designs and even get a peek at my Mom!

Triangle panic bit and wrapped stones are my favs.
Mom is awesome and I love that she travels with you on your CHA adventures. Had to laugh to see that you’re using the CVS baby wipes as those are the ones that I get when they are on sale and I really like how they work/clean.

I loved the 3D effect you did with the scan n cut butterfly and the flower. Awesome:-) I too am into the foamy backings too.
I tried to watch as many of the Periscope pod videos as I could find. I watched two with the Brother Scan n Cut. I loved them both but the first one the one in the class made me feel like I was there.
I just wish I got to see the finish as it went off just as you had started to do the second box. I never did get to see the finished result of the box.
I also watched the demo in the booth with the two ladies. Then it too just went off so did they end up buying a Scan n Cut?
I too wish I was there it look so awesome and you looked like you had a good time.
Are you still in Ca? We got snow here in the East while you were away in Ca.
It is still here on the ground. I am only a state away from you in Ct. Not sure what Ma got but we are still with at least an inch of snow.
