Today I'm taking you into the bedroom. When you see the photos you might giggle because I pretty much sleep in the world's largest walk in closet. Seriously, I have shelves everywhere. One of the moving companies that came to give me an estimate said, "You have a lot more stuff than I'd expect in a normal two-bedroom apartment." He did go on to say that I wasn't at hoarder level yet. "I will give you a compliment and say that things are very organized." Thanks?
The quilt is a piece I made back in 2007.
I love my kindle, but I can't stop myself from buying real books too!
All of the shelving/drawer units in the apartment are elfa from The Container Store. I love elfa. It's a renter's dream. You can create custom shelving solutions with almost no drilling into the wall. Everything hangs from a single rail at the top of the wall. Plus it's all modular so you can mix and match. This means when you move you can take it with you in pieces and then put it together in your new space in a new configuration. This elfa shelving has been in two apartments so far. About to head to a third!
