You guys know that I'm not a super blingy girl.  Therefore, I wasn't sure if I would like the ScanNCut Rhinestone kit.  But I tried it out and made something very Julie-style with it:

You can literally turn **anything** (including your handwriting, that's how I did the pattern on my apron) into a rhinestone pattern.  How cool is that?!

In the Rhinestone Kit you get everything you need to get started:

  • The code to unlock the Rhinestone Wizard in ScanNCut Canvas (this gives you access to lots of rhinestone patterns plus the ability to turn any design into a rhinestone pattern)
  • Hot Fix rhinestones
  • Template material
  • Transfer sheets
  • Pick-up Tool
  • The "magic" brush (I love the magic brush!)

I put together a quick video that shows how the Rhinestone Kit works:

Have you tried the ScanNCut Rhinestone Kit yet?  What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

  • I am still learning the basics with my Scan n Cut, but I can’t wait to try this next step! I make lots of small to medium sized items to sell in a gallery, and the Scan n Cut makes the process of saving my original patterns and then cutting them out of various materials much quicker, easier, and totally uniform, than tracing and cutting by hand.
What I thought would be a wonderful to has become a a wonderful tool!!!

  • Hello, thanks for your great tutorial on the Rhinestone Kit and all the others great Scan N Cut Videos.
I just got the rhinestone kit and actually it costs me some nerves. I’ve got the ScanNCut DX 1200 and cutting the black foil is a nightmare. First I used the AUTO-setting. Oh my! Then I tried Pressure 2 which results in an OKish cut, but not one single cut hole sticked to the adhesive. I had remove every single one of them by hand. I shouldnt have used a design with 2226 rhinestones at the beginning :D. Any tips what I can do to get it cut correctly?
And what do you use to store the cut template? Do you add it to a paperback or something like this for reuse purposes?
