Lately I'm super punch obsessed. I keep buying them, using them, layering them. I'm addicted to the easy shape making. Here's a recent layout I did with lots of layers of punches:
I layered a large circle punch with 2 sizes of circle scallop punches, a starburst punch, a paper flower, and some sparkly rhinestone and stud centers from Prima. I think the effect is very soft and pretty.
And I'm looking forward to playing with my two newest punches:
The top one is one of the new "deep" border punches and it cuts a border 2.5 times the depth of a standard border punch! The bottom one is part of my butterfly obsession. Believe it or not, I mostly got it so that I could cut the 3 tiny butterflies away from the rest of the border. I was sort of thinking of it as 3 punches for the price of one!

yes, I have the new edge punches and am really using them a lot. Would love to know which punches ( brands and sizes) you have to layer?
The only problem with punches is they must be sharpened so quickly, and I don’t have great success with aluminum foil. Anyone have any other ideas?

oh my i dont even want to count how many punches i have. hahah! i love spellbinders and sizzix too. yikes. then i have a slice and silhoutte. yes its madness! my all time favorite??? scallop punch by SU and another one by fiscars… i forgot what it iis called

I adore this layout! I too love my punches!!!! I have a Cricut and I still use my punches way more!!!

Wonderful LO…soft and the layers are delightful! I have more punches than I use but I’m getting better. I put them in a large basket close to my work table so that I can reach over and get them (they had been in a plastic storage bin with a cover on it).

I have just gotten into punches and yeah, I am getting obsessed. I never fully appreciated how a little punch can pack a big punch in projects! I need that butterfly border punch. I am butterfly obsessed also!
