Label Tulip Sneak Peeks (aka: I can’t stay away from the paint.)

So, I was feeling like all my pages were beginning to look the same – paint, paint and more paint.  In working with this kit, I decided to try and stay away from the paint.  Boy oh boy was it tough and I definitely didn't succeed.  But, you'll have to wait until June 16th for the full reveal.  In the meantime, here are some sneaky peekies:

No paint on this layout!  I did use alcohol inks to create the background, but…technically, no paint!

Okay, the red swirls are painted.

See, no paint!  Unless you count the blue watercolor….

Does Spray Ink count as paint?

Okay, I only painted the title on this one.  That's pretty good, right?

Ooops!  Three kinds of paint just in this photo!

I think we've all learned that I cannot step away from the paint.  Layouts just look unfinished to me without a little painty something!

What about you?  Is there something you use on every single page?

SIDE NOTE: I've decided to sell my Klic-N-Kut.  It's a totally amazing machine, but I just don't use it anymore.  I tend to cut everything by hand.  I don't think I've turned it on in almost a year.

Does anyone have advice on a good place to sell it?

  • Julie dear, paint is your trademark. Embrace it. Really. No one does paint quite like you. That’s what makes you unique. I can recognize your LO before I see your name…:)
I’m still trying to find my style. But of late, I like the flexibility of a white pen…for doodlin, faux stitching, outlining…
