Live with Prima: I am “The Technique Geek”

I'm pleased to share a new slant on my Live with Prima broadcasts.

TechniqueGeekLogo-sm
From now on I'll be focusing on techniques and ideas!  On The Technique Geek show I'll showcase one amazing Prima product and explore its versatility. You will leave each class with an arsenal of new ideas and techniques to put into your own projects!

I hope you'll enjoy the new format.  Classes will be shorter (30-60 minutes), but still full of the goofy fun and excellent education you've come to expect from my shows!  The new format will begin in July.

July 11, 2011 at 8pm EST: Aire Mini Branches

This week we’ll be working with the beautiful mini branches from the Aire Collection (#549558).  Their velvety petals are actually mulberry paper.  Each package contains three branches of flowers in coordinating colors.  Come and explore the myriad ways in which you can use these pretty flowers.

July 25, 2011 at 8pm EST: Floret Mini Roses

This week we’ll be playing with the mini roses from the Floret Collection (#548186).  You get ten flowers (two each of five coordinating colors/patterns).  These are gorgeous dimensional roses, each about one inch in diameter.  They are made of mulberry paper and won’t crush when placed in your scrapbook albums. Come and explore all the possibilities these lovely roses offer.

I hope you'll enjoy the new format!  I'm super duper excited about it.  When I proposed the change to the folks at Prima I was nervous that they'd hate the idea.  But they loved it and said that it, "plays to my strengths."  And I have to agree.  I love experimenting with products and seeing just how far I can push them!  If there are any Prima products you're wondering about, let me know and I'll try to get them into the lineup!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • I am excited for this new take on your Prima shows. I love learning more techniques and am thrilled that it will be shorter. Over an hour is time that I just don’t have. I am thrilled with this new aspect. Thanks and see you in July!

  • First off, love the title bestowed upon you! Second, that montage of pix of you playing with the paintbrush? I had to mimic all those faces one at a time–so funny! And finally, can’t wait to tune in to your shows. After seeing your videos showcasing the different ways to use your stamp sets, I find I can’t buy anything if I can’t see how else to use it. Unfortunately, like miming your expressions, I can only “think” using your brain, lol, so I am excited to see what you do with what!

  • I just saw the recent show with the picture frame and laughed along with you–I love funny, creative people.! I’m very encouraged by your techniques/teaching style and definitely consider myself a student of yours. If you ever come to California to teach, I’m calling work and saying I’m sick that day.!
