Mom and I flew out to Cleveland the week after Thanksgiving to film season two of Make It Artsy!
It was Mom's first time coming along for all the filming fun and I managed to put her to work in the Green Room (aka waiting area):
The Green Room is where we prep projects…
…socialize…
…and even go clothes shopping!
We had some outstanding guests for season two!
And, of course, me!
As you can see from the photos, there's a lot going on! It's all held together by a great crew:
Lots of careful planning:
Plus plenty of self-care (a mixture of silliness and drinking water):
And of course, food:
Left or right?
Through it all, I was very happy to have my Mom along for the ride.
We always have a good time!
Make It Artsy is a half hour instructional art making show and it airs for free on your local PBS station (thank you to everyone who wrote and requested the show for their local station!) and online, and you can purchase DVDs of the whole season if you wish.

I enjoyed the ‘behind the scenes’ post but I most enjoy seeing you and your mom together. Cherish these times….I lost my mom when she was only 58…so sad and I miss having her to talk to. I know she would be so happy to see her grand children doing so well….and we were always best friends more than mum and daughter…I miss that.
