Good news! Just in time for Spring, I finished my very first knitting project: a winter hat!
I love how it turned out and I'm amazed that I made it! I'm ready to start on a new knitting project now. I'm thinking of something very ambitious, like a sweater. Am I insane to launch into a project like a sweater after making just one hat? Or will slow and steady plus YouTube get me there? Give me your advice, knitters!

You can do a sweater!. There are some very straightforward patterns. You’ll just have to increase and decrease. I would only recommend you use worsted weight or heavier yarn. Finer yarn would just take forever. You may also want to chose a top down pattern because you can make sue everything is the lengh you want. You go !

All of my favorite sweaters have been top to down patterns! Most yarn stores have knit-alongs where everyone is so helpful if you are getting stuck on your project. So go for it…take the plunge…do a sweater. They are not that hard.

Of course you can knit a sweater! There are lots of not too complicated patterns (do a pinterest search) and if you use a heavy yarn it wouldn’t be too time consuming (myself, I hate time consuming projects – they just don’t get finnished). So – go for it!
