A Notice to Our Consumers Regarding the ScanNCut DX Mat Loading Issues
The Brother team took this to heart because we work to provide unique features and improve product functionality based on what customers want. We are at your side as you use our products to transform your vision into creative crafts and projects.
Need a new mat? If your ScanNCut DX mats were purchased between August 1, 2018 and October 31, 2018, Brother is offering you a new mat free of charge. Customers may contact the Brother Customer Service Department at 877-BROTHER (1-877-276-8437) or visit Brother at https://www.brother-usa.com/brother-support for additional contact details.

I hope that this will help solve your mat feeding issues! I'll leave you with a project I made this weekend with my ScanNCut DX:
It's a clutch made from cork fabric (the silver, leather-like material) and batik fabric (the red and white fabric in the rose). I love how it turned out and I love how easy the AutoBlade on my ScanNCut DX makes all of my cutting projects! (And don't worry, instructions for this project will be available on the upcoming season of Make It Artsy.)

I have just han my sdx1200 for 6 weeks and i have started to have loading mat problems.on the low tack started loading crooked now wount load at all. so i tried the standard and it has started to load a couple of times crooked. iam unable to use the low tack mat at all and the standard is going the same way. surely they are meant to last longer than 6 weeks. i havent even used that much.

Did you update your firmware. Even if its new, it still needs to have the firmware updated. Did you contact Brother Customer Support?

Its likely the wrong scanning mat for your machine. If you have a DX machine, it must be a DX mat. If you have a ScanNCut 1 or 2 it must be a SNC 1 or 2 mat.

Hi there. I purchased my machine a few months ago. I have been using it constantly. Lately the mat feeds in crooked, pulling to the left. Also I hand started to cut stencils and I do a test cut and it cuts unevenly on the left hand side of the mat.
Any suggestions?

I have had my scan n cut for three years age have constant mat loading issues. I’m firmwarevis up to date. A new Mat will work for 4 or 5 times, then the same thing happens. I am about ready to throw the machine in the trash and purchase a new Critcut.
