I’m so pleased to share that I have brand new Art Foamies foam stamps for sale! Lots and lots of beautiful florals to choose from!

To celebrate, every day next week I will be sharing a video and a blog post all about each stamp set.
If you just can’t wait, KaePea (the owner of Art Foamies) will be streaming a live video at 4pm CST today (July 4, 2025).

I think you’re going to love these new designs. They’re pretty and super useful. Grab some HERE.
If you’ve never used Art Foamies before—or if they’ve been sitting unused in a drawer—this post is your official invitation to dive in!
What Are Art Foamies?
Art Foamies are high-quality foam stamps designed specifically for use with paint (though they also work with ink). Unlike traditional rubber stamps, they are made from thick, durable foam that absorbs and transfers paint beautifully. What makes them stand out is their unique designs, durability, and size. (I like big stamps and I cannot lie!)

P.S. Don’t eat them! This photo is just for scale!
I love Art Foamies so much I even designed my own line of them! You can read my post all about how that happened HERE.
Why Artists Love Art Foamies
Here are just a few reasons Art Foamies have become a staple in many artists’ studios:
ONE: Art Foamies are Perfect for Stamping with Paint
Most stamps are designed for ink. Art Foamies, however, are perfect for all acrylic paints — even acrylic fabric paint! I used them to make this cool painting coat. Read my post all about it HERE.

But I’ve also used Art Foamies with ink, watercolor, and even Inktense Blocks. I have lots of videos on this blog and my YouTube channel with all the how tos. I’ve tried to tag all the posts HERE, but I may have missed a few along the way. You can always use the search bar on this blog to find what you need!
TWO: Art Foamies are Easy to Clean & Reuse
Simply rinse your Art Foamies with water (and maybe a touch of soap) when you’re done. I sometimes use a soft toothbrush for really stubborn paint. And, if I’m super honest (eek): I don’t usually clean them at all. I just kind of stamp them on scrap paper until I don’t see any paint. Mine have lasted for years with this method!

Art Foamies hold up well to repeated use, even after hundreds of impressions.
THREE: Art Foamies Come in a Range of Sizes

Some Art Foamies are quite large, making them perfect for printing on canvas, fabric, tote bags, t-shirts, and more.

But there are small, detailed designs too—great for greeting cards and art journals.

You can use Art Foamies for all kinds of artwork, even fine art!

FOUR: Unique Designs

You’ll find everything from tribal patterns to hand-drawn florals and quirky faces. And yes, I may be biased, but I think my collection of Art Foamies is especially wonderful for mixed media layering.
Final Thoughts
Art Foamies are an accessible, low-pressure way to add dynamic marks and layered patterns to your artwork. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, they invite experimentation and play.
