Hello everybody! I'm taking this week off. But I wanted to leave you with something to think about this week! Here are five posts from the archives that I think are worth re-visiting for a variety of reasons.

Go ahead and check out what I was thinking and what I was making eleven years ago. Reading the text, I'm still the same person with the same likes and dislikes, but looking at the photos…time and thoughtful practice make a big difference! Canvas Name Tags: May 2011
I *hand stitched* 50 name tags for my students and you know what? Nobody cared. It was one of the most disappointing projects I've ever worked on, but I blogged about it and it made me feel better! Plus it taught me not to spend time on that kind of thing. (And sort of related is this 2018 post about what 2 hours of stitching looks like.)
