Every year I make a few new handmade Christmas ornaments for my tree. This year, I made two different kinds of ornaments: stuffed raw edge fabric ornaments and simple paper stars made from my preschooler’s artwork.

Why I Love This Handmade Christmas Tradition
Making a few new handmade Christmas ornaments each year has become a small, meaningful ritual for me. Each ornament holds a snapshot of where I was creatively and personally in that moment, and together they quietly tell the story of our family over the years. When they come out of the box each year, they’re not just decorations, they’re reminders that creativity is a lifestyle!

All of your ornaments are sweet but those stars are real treasures. What fun it will be to look back on these when he gets a bit older.I don’t know where you find the time or get your batteries charged, Julie, but I sure wish you could bottle that energy and send it around! Thanks for all you do and all you share.
Thank you for sharing your (and your husband and son’s artwork. It is beautiful and I love how you use your son’s artwork for ornaments. Am grateful you share your talent, energy and spirit with us.
