Hello, friends! Here is a little bit about life around here right now:
I'm almost finished with the online Sketchbook class that I mentioned last month.
Hopefully I'll finish filming the last few videos this week or next and then open registration mid-June. Yay!
The Summer weather, of course!
This is my Mom's porch. Unfortunately, someone drove their car into her house (thus all the plywood), but it doesn't stop us from hanging out outside! (It happened more than a year ago, but we are hopeful that it will get fixed later this Summer.)
He's 18-months-old and makes me happy every single day. I feel extremely lucky to be his Mom.
His cousin, who is just 8-weeks older than he is, is coming for a visit in a few weeks and we're all verrrrry excited about it! Because of the pandemic, he's never played with another toddler. I'm super excited/nervous to see what happens. Eeek!
Current art crush?
I really love the pottery of Jane Ormes. I keep stalking her online shop hoping to pick up a piece (they're always sold out). Take a peek at her work:
She does other kinds of art as well, but I personally loooooove her whimsical folk-style pottery.

What's the difference between a personal vlog and a studio vlog?
- Personal vlogs have a lot of daily life stuff (lots of baby) and a bit of random art content. They're pretty much like the old weekly vlogs you can still see on my YouTube channel. All Members have access to personal vlogs.
- Studio vlogs are art focused on a single art project or art-related topic. Past studio vlogs include: behind-the-scenes of putting together an online class, a studio tour, the process of making my giant tree mural, etc. Maker Members & Super Learner Members have access to the studio vlogs.
