I looooove gelatin printing.  Twenty days into this project and I feel zero fatigue. I am here for the gelatin printing party!

Today I'm sharing days 15-20.  Check it out (These images are embedded from instagram.  If you can't see them, click HERE.):

Good news!  I'm getting better.  Not every print is a winner, but I feel like my color and composition choices are evolving and improving.  I also feel like my registration and layering techniques are improving.  Improvement is the name of the game in a long form challenge like this, so I'm pretty thrilled!

I'm working on a post for tomorrow that talks about the tools I like to use for gelatin printing.  I hope it will be helpful to you!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Absolutely love seeing you work and the progress of your gelli images! I also love some of your Mandala type stencils and the rose. Where can I find these?

  • This posting is interesting. I think I prefer motifs that come from plants and flowers instead of abstract symbols. And not so much circles for instance. Weird insight on my part. But definitely a result of your blogging and your examples over these many years. Very helpful! Maybe someday I will try gel printing.

  • These look like great fodder for an on-line class! (Not so subtle hint!) Love the combinations you’ve put together both with color and composition. Winners!!
