EasyMarble-WM
I tried a new-to-me product for the first time: Easy Marble by Marabu.  You can watch the video below to see my explorations — including the moment that I lose my mind over how cool and easy it is to do!

Here are some of the marbled pieces I made:

And a necklace:

You can see some of the "real" paper marbling I did in a class last year here.  You can't control Easy Marble in the same way, but it is a much easier process and I think you'll agree: the results are amazing!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Great video! I love Easy Marble! I loved your Rocks and I’m glad to see you used the buttons I gave to you in St Pete. I marbled plastic eggs this year for Easter and I’ve used it on glass Christmas ornaments. Let me tell you about using craft vinyl….I marbled a piece and then I cut it with my Scan N Cut….turned out really cool, but when I used the transfer film it would not stick to the surface of the Easy Marble…took some work, but I got it on to some fabric at last. I’ve also used it on wooden letters,on metal, even a Styrofoam ball.

  • Just wow! Thanks for sharing. Apparently paint sticking to the pick is a real problem for many using the product. What do you think would be the best surface on a pick (metal? glass?) to swish through the mixture?

  • Hi Julie – I love to watch you play with art supplies and see some of your creative process. Those rocks and buttons are so cool. I’ve ordered my kit and can’t wait to play with it. Thanks for the introduction to more art fun.

  • Thanks for your video! Even though I’ve used it before, I learned quite a bit from your experimentation. Rocks…who knew! Try it on Kraft, glossy and my favorite, aluminum foil adhesive tape (an insulation product that Amazon sells in 4″ wide rolls). Also try the Clear Easy Marble.

  • Holly molley!!! I am an impulse buyer and would have jumped on this anyway but…recently tried to do pour painting and found it wasn’t my cup of tea but think this will give me the result that I was looking for with the pour. Super excited, and can’t wait to try them in conjunction with stamps/foamies and stencils!

  • Hi Julie; Loved your video, loved your results. After multiple attempts I just threw all of my “not easy” marbling paints away. I don’t know if they have a limited shelf life, but man, these things were hard to mix, some of them simply clumped and fell to the bottom of the water, and most clung to my skewer so badly that it was nearly futile to get them to move at all. Several times I got big gooey clumps of paint after lifting my papers and cloths out of the water. So it’s back to great Julie stencils and stamps and acrylic paints for me!
