from the Balzer Designs Blog: Adventures in Arting Podcast

Today's podcast is all about The 100 Day Project, classes I'm teaching, and visiting NYC (Fancy Food Show, YouTube Space, MoMA and getting my hair cut).

  • Loved the podcast, as always. I have signed up for a couple of your classes at Whimsodoodle in St. Petersburg and I promise to laugh at all your jokes. Looking forward to “Interesting Faces” and “Sketching”.

  • Impressed with your resolve. The 100 days project is certainly building one’s character if nothing else and there is plenty to show for your efforts. So much variation in techniques and combinations of techniques. I must say the child like face with the lips forming an
“O” and the bow tie is by far my fav. However, I agree, drawing is a skill, like any skill can be honed and fine-tuned with practice it can be developed beautifully. I am on a 61-day project and I have lost my steam at day 46. You have more staying power than most people. Tenacity is a character virtue in my estimation.
