from the Balzer Designs Blog: #CarveDecember 2016: Days 19-26

I hope that you are having as much fun carving stamps as I am!  The thing that impresses me about #CarveDecember every year is that just when you think you're out of ideas, there are more!  Just when you think you're out of time, there is enough time to carve a stamp!  Here is what I've been up to:

  • You seem to have gone “Escher” on us this year. Excellent! I love the bright handles of your tools. MUST HAVE! though I must admit that I only was able to carve 2 stamps this month before the holiday obligations kicked in.

  • Hey, Julie Fei-Fan!
I’m going to be traveling a bit in 2017 and would like to take along a craft to do while in the hotel. I know you spoke of this before but I don’t remember the details.
How is it traveling with the carving tools? Are you able to take them in your carry-on?
    Thanks so much!
