It has been such a long time since I've shared daily pages! I'm way way behind in sharing. Today I've got three pages from the beginning of July. Hopefully I'll manage to catch up and get to share what I'm working on right now sometime soon!

I don't like this page. And that's okay. That's part of what an art journal is for — exploring and playing and mucking around without worrying about the outcome.
This is a really simple thing to and I love the pattern it creates: just draw a lot of dashes with a whole bunch of colored markers.
You can see that this page is built on an old dress pattern.

Well, the awesome news is that in YOUR art journal, YOU get to be the boss and make that decision! For me, it was too pretty to cover up so I decided to leave it and call it done! For you, maybe you'd keep going or cover it up. And that is the beauty of your inner artistic voice!
This face is grotesquely beautiful. I like exploring these "ugly" faces. I find them aggressive and intriguing.
