Here is part three of my Quilt Festival photos.  There's plenty more to come, so I hope you're inspired by what you see!

Whether or not you're a sewer, I hope you have some ideas for patterns and colors and design in your own work!  I think many of these quilts could inspire greeting cards, paintings, art journal pages, and I know that my Carve December will be influenced by these gorgeous patterns!

Thanks for stopping by!  More quilts tomorrow!

  • Julie, thank you so much for taking the time to share your trip to Houston and especially for including the detail shots of each quilt. There is so much to learn from each photo.

  • What a beautiful collection you put together! Looks like it was an amazing show. I am so sorry I was unable to attend this year but you obviously have a great eye, (not just saying this to be self serving) but I do feel privileged to have my work be amongst the ones you highlighted.
I particularly loved the portrait of the woman by the window with its excellent depiction of shadow and light. Why don’t works of art like that win big prizes at this show?
Thanks so much for sharing some of your favourites with those of us who couldn’t attend.
