ArtJournalEveryDayLogo-150If you're new to Art Journal Every Day, there is a short introduction here.  All of the previous posts can be found archived here.  There is a flickr group for sharing right here.  Remember, it's just ten minutes of nourishing your creative self every day!  No need to finish anything or even like it.  If you've done some art journaling this week and you've blogged about it, or put it on flickr, please leave a link in the linky list at the end of this post.  Thanks!

Happy Friday!  Today I'm sharing three pages from my current Junque Journal.  As you know, I build my pages slowly, day-by-day over time.  For me, it eliminates the anxiety involved with finishing a page.

1-PaperDolls-wm
Paper dolls! I created them using the ScanNCut.  Watch the video for the how-to:

Here are some detail photos:

The circles on the page are all filled with images I created using Balzer Bits!  Lots of fun new designs that I've been experimenting with!

This page has a little center page insert.

This is a drypoint experiment.

Lettering!  Lettering!  I'm all about the lettering in my art journal lately.

This is a drawing that Picasso started and I finished!

  • really fantastic pages as usual!! LOVE the paper dolls-and a machine sure would help big time in cutting them! I do mine by hand and they can get a bit tedious sometimes.

  • I love the paper doll tutorial. More and more I see how I can use the Scan n Cut for so many things. I love using silhouettes so this will be great to make them different sizes. I love all your pages this week too. When I see all your lettering I think I should do a lettering journal and really learn how to acquire that skill. Thanks for the inspiration.
