I recently found out about a really cool project called InkTober.
You can read more about it HERE. Essentially, it's a challenge to do an ink drawing every day in October. I decided to do a hand lettered quote each day. Here are the results from my first week:
Working in black and white has been difficult, but really interesting. I feel like the experience is also helping me to discover a few new "Julie fonts" for lack of a better term. I'm having a good time and I look forward to seeing where I am at the end of the month!

Your quotes are priceless. I love them all ….. this past weekend I was a passenger in the back seat for a 7 hour drive (down and back up to Virginia). I watched your DVD-FACES-2 times. Once on the way down and once on the way back. I tried to follow along but turns out I cannot draw//paint while sitting in the backseat of a moving car !!! I have had ADA in my possession for a long time now and I plan on pending some quality time with her (when my tummy gets back into shape !!!) ….. Take care and thank you for all your postings…..I enjoy your postings and get to see you everyday …. how lucky am I ???????
