On Sunday I taught a full day workshop called, "Starting an Altered Book" at A Work of Heart in San Jose. Take a peek at the fun we had!
As you can tell from the photos, I was super lucky to have 24 talented, enthusiastic and very generous students who made teaching the class a real pleasure. Store owner, Andrea…

Boy, was that a fun day! I’m the one with the face painted on her apron and I had a great time. Julie is a good teacher, as I knew she would be from taking several of her online classes. I’m working away on my book and have already bought a few more old books to alter cause I can tell this is something I want to do more of. Thanks, Julie!

This was SOOOOO much fun! I really do hope you’ll make it an annual thing, coming to the bay area to teach. You are such a great teacher and amazing, inspirational artist. Thanks so much for the class, I had a blast and am going to start collecting old books now! Thanks again!
