Today I thought I'd share a few of the scrapbook layouts I made for this season of Scrapbook Soup TV!
I've got a ton more to share, plus lots of off-the-page projects. Step-by-step instructions for each of these projects can be found on the upcoming season of Scrapbook Soup TV, as well as online (once the show airs this fall).
I was aiming to create simple, graphic layouts that were quick to put together. They're a bit different from my "normal" style, but I think they still feel like me. What do you think? Do you have a favorite?

I like the “white space”. To me, it makes me focus on what I think you want me to see. Very restful. Even though these are scrapbook pages, the ideas can transfer beautifully to my art journal. Great job. Looking forward to Scrapbook Soup online.

These are all lovely, Julie! I like the continuity of the white background and the 3 dots used on several of the layouts. My fave is the first one. I follow you on Pinterest and know you collect a lot of wonderful quotes there–I love how you put this one into action, and how the layout is like a 12×12 thank you card to your mom. The hand cut lettering with the patterned paper behind is awesome–is it a collage?–there is so much interest in it, but the eye goes directly to the photo of you and mom. AND, how great is is that that cool deli paper feather found a home on a layout?? 🙂

Awesome..!…as always. I especially like the one with the grey leaf sprig cut-outs-the sideways writing just goes with the flow. The larger sprayed backgrounds are great too and the one with all of the words cut out looks fabulous. Was your hand hurting after that one?

Layout “Awesome…” is truly awesome. It just grabbed my attention (another great layout!) and held it. I just stared. Was it the color? the negative space? No doubt it was many things including some I can’t put words to. So much good stuff in all these examples! You are flexibly creative!
