One of the things that I adore about Valentine's Day is that everyone decides to mix two of my favorite things together: craft + love. Even very non-crafty people will get into the spirit by making Valentines or making gifts and I think that's awesome!
But any time is a good time to get crafty and hand out some love.
I like to leave pretty little notes for my husband taped to the bathroom mirror, hanging over his desk, or stuck to a kitchen cabinet. Sometimes I'll hide them in his briefcase or stick them in a suit coat pocket. It takes very little time and I know it makes both of us smile when we see them.
Here's a small sampling of the artful love notes I've left him over the years…
It doesn't take any time at all. Just grab a colorful scrap from your desk, splash some paint on it, use a bit of washi tape and you've got a gorgeous love note. So whether it's Valentine's Day or just another Tuesday, think about leaving someone special in your life a little bit of craft + love.

We’ve been broken up for 15 years now, but I still have those notes.

Great idea! I always plan on making elaborate cards, then never get to them because of time. These are a great alternative. (OMG, I’ve got to get a fish stapler like that! so cool!)
