With Valentine's Day in mind, I sat down to do some creating and this collection of heart cards emerged.
I have a container that I keep painted papers in. These are papers that have been rejected from other projects or they're papers I made with no particular project in mind. It's a great source for quick creating! To start my cards I pulled out this piece of painted watercolor paper:
With a bit of stamping and painting it became this piece of paper:
I cut it into pieces and mixed it up with some stenciled hearts — using my new "Mix & Match Hearts" stencil:
And I came up with these colorful stitched pieces:
From there I simply added a few more painted papers to make each square just a tad under five inches, and glued each collage to the front of a 5×5 black card.
