Sometimes a layout just comes together. One of those magical moments where everything in the universe aligns and I can put together a layout in less than an hour. This is one of those layouts.
I was invited to be a guest by Colorful Creations. Here is the sketch I was given:

One of the reasons that I was able to put this layout together so quickly is because I had previously made the collage paper you see behind the photo. It's just like having my own patterned papers sitting around. All I need to do is cut it up, glue it on, and my layout is 90% complete! Got to love that!

Your advice is so motivating – sometimes all I have time and energy for, is making the backgrounds…hoping for some down time during the holidays to put more complex pages together. Your stencils have me positively drooling! I have been trying to get them – however, here in Germany they are not yet really arrived, and the shops charge a really unreasonable amount for postage. It cannot be that expensive to send some tiny stencils to Germany, can it?
Please tell me, when will your own shop finally offer them…. I so much want to use your clouds and tears and triangles in my art journals.
