Have I got a super cute idea for you!

The holidays are all about sweet treats, aren't they?  I never cook or bake, but somehow the holidays get me feeling like I just might (p.s. the cupcakes for this tutorial were purchased).  But if I don't bake, I can at least give my sweet treats that special homemade touch, right?

Take some decorative tape and a toothpick…

Supplies
Supplies
Wrap the tape around the top of the toothpick…

Notchcutout
…and cut a notch out of it.

Final
Super cute, right?

How about two strips of tape…

Wraptape

…snipped straight this time.

Punchsnowflake
Punch a snowflake from an old book page.

Addrhinestones
Add rhinestones and then adhere the snowflake to the flag.

Final
You can use lots of different kinds of tape.

Labeltap
This is a roll of label tape from TapeSwell.

Wraplabel
I wrapped the label and cut a notch (not pictured)…

Smallhearts
…painted some hearts on a book page and cut them out.  I adhered a heart to each side of the label tape.

Final
Super easy!

Try kicking your cupcakes or other baked treats up a notch with some easy-to-make tape toppers!
