ALTERED BOOK WORKSHOP
Make an all day art date! We will spend the day transforming an ordinary old book into a fabulous piece of art. Come and learn techniques for layering, collaging, painting, patterning, and cutting. Whether you’re a mixed media artist, a scrapbooker, a stamper, a beginner, or an expert, these are techniques that you will take home and use.

Introduction to Photoshop Elements
(the basics of photo editing)
This class assumes that you have absolutely no knowledge of Photoshop Elements. You will learn the basics of cropping photos, brightening photos, smoothing flaws, and getting your photo print ready! You must bring a laptop with Photoshop Elements installed on it.
When: December 5, 2010, 2pm-5pm

Introduction to Digital Scrapbooking
We'll explore the layers palette, using digital elements, playing with brushes, and the basics of putting together fantastic digital scrapbook pages! No previous scrapbook experience required! But you must understand the basics of Photoshop Elements in order to take this class!
When: December 19, 2010, 11am-5pm (with an hour break for lunch)

Introduction to Art Journaling
Art Journaling is a fun and relaxing way to mix creative expression with memory keeping. Many art journaling techniques can be used in card making, scrapbooking, mixed media artwork, and even fiber art. In this introduction to the process of art journaling we’ll cover all the basics from supplies to techniques. You’ll leave with at least one completed page and inspiration and know how to help you keep creating for months to come!
AND just a reminder that in about a week I'm headed to Paris to teach at the Paper&Co. Show. It's sure to be a ton of fun with lots of paint and ink and awesome-ness! I hope you'll join me!!!!
