I love, love, love, love, LOVE, love the Donna Downey canvas products from Prima.  They are blank canvases screaming to be colored.  And you know how I love to color things!  Here's what the blank tote bag looks like:

And here's what I did to it:

I used a combination of a Sakura Permapaque marker, Copic airbrush, Adirondack color Wash, and acrylic paint.  I sealed the whole thing with matte multi medium.  I've been wearing it all around town for the last few weeks and it has been a great bag and draws a ton of stares too!

Thanks for stopping by!

  • Love it! I attended Inspired this year, and we all received a tote bag – but I haven’t decorated mine yet. Trying to decide what I want to do!

  • Im not sure how long it took me.  I did it over several days in short (15-30 minute) bursts.  I did it during a period in which I was very busy and didnt have much time to create.  So it probably took me a week or so in little bursts.
