Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I had a very happy mail day!
That's my layout (and my face) smack dab in the middle of the cover (the one with the hearts) of Scrapbooking m.m.! This is my very first time ever being on the cover of a magazine! Yay! Yay! Yay! I'm grinning from ear to ear!
They sent a second issue which has two more of my layouts and a ton of my photos from CHA. It's a beautiful magazine (though I wish I could read Swedish). It's a more artsy aesthetic than most American magazines, so it's fun to see!
And something else arrived in the mail today too!
Yay! Yay! Yay! (Have I reached my quota for number of yays in a post?) It's my kit for Monday's class! This is a reminder to join me at 2pm EST (GMT -5) on the Live With Prima site, where we'll be making this:
I've also got big plans for my next Live with Prima class on April 5! I've got a few more finishing touches and then I'll share.
Finally, I've got two "administrative" things to point out:
(1) At the bottom of this post and every post, you will now see a line that says, "reblog, favorite, tweet this." Here's what happens if you click each of those links:
reblog: Clicking through allows you to automatically clip any portion of that post including photos (you can choose exactly what to clip), comment on it, link back to me, and post it to your own blog — all in a few clicks! If you don't have a typepad blog, you can start a free typepad mini blog! Some people have compared this feature to tumblr. Tumblr is an easy way to keep all your inspiration at your fingertips. I think Typepad is hoping their mini blogs will serve the same purpose.
favorite: Click the favorite button as a way to say, "I like this post." You can also click the favorite button as a way to easily find it again. If you have a (free) typepad account (no need to have a blog), all your favorite-d posts will show up in a collected list!
tweet this: I'm not on twitter, but everyone else in the world seems to be. If you want to tweet link one of my posts, you can click on the "tweet this" link and it'll do it for you automatically. Man, they are making everything interconnected and so darn easy!
(2) I have put a small icon for Live With Prima on the left side of the blog. If you click it, you will be taken to a page that lists all my classes for Live With Prima. Eventually, I hope to link the videos and such to it as well. But it's an easy way to see if any of the projects interest you.
