Prima has some seriously delicious treats in store for you!
I had a chance to play with a Valentine vine and oh my! Here are the vines…
…and here is the layout I made with it:
Very soft and romantic. And the controlled use of paint as a grounding element turned out really well (if I do say so myself)! I think sometimes I try too hard. Too many techniques. Too many moving parts. I want everything to be super amazing and it just ends up looking overworked. This layout is truly simple and it really works well. I mean that vine is so super fab, it seems silly to put too much else on the page!

A little bit unusual for me. One of the things about making product driven layouts is that I get so in my head about showing off the product and making sure it looks good. I think the title turned out pretty cool. It's hand cut from the Strawberry Kisses paper. I didn't include any journaling on this layout because I was thinking of popping the layout into a 12×12 shadow box and shipping it off to the lovely couple in the photos. But I'm kind of chickening out. I have to admit that I get weird about giving handmade gifts to people who don't craft. I always wonder if they'll just think it looks weird and like a fourth grader did it, you know?
And now for something a little bit different. I had a chance to work with Prima's oh so cool Temple Leaves…
They are shiny and waxy and bendable and so darn cool! I made a little canvas wall hanging with them. Technically, it's a small quilt (the photo is a little dark, sorry!):

I really love it turned out. One of those happy projects where your imagination meets reality, you know?

I love all of theser projects! The first layout with the vine is my absolute favourite! Like you said, simple is beautiful, but I think it takes a creative mind to make that layout, it’s simple in a “thought through” way. You definitely make me want to buy Prima!

Love how you used the valentine vines. I’ve been loving the sneaks but since I just reviewed my plan vs. actual budget for 2009 and was appalled by how much I spend on scrapbooking, it almost makes me sad. So sad I might need some shopping therapy!
